My Life Has Changed!

This year of Youth Camp was wonderful. On Wednesday, June 15th, 2011, I excepted Jesus Christ into my  heart. This happened after the message by C.B. Eder. (thank you!) But the story doesn't start here. It starts a couple days before Youth Camp, when my sister Joy and I were  talking our room at night. We had just finished reading the first chapter of Colossians, and Joy started talking more to me and asking me questions. I don't remember exactly all that we were talking about, but I remember  talking about Creation and Evolution (don't know how we get there). Then she asked me if becoming a Christian was something that I wanted to do and I answered, yes. Then she was telling me how that all I have to do is   (not exact words) ask Jesus into my heart (or call upon his name). Then at Youth Camp (2011) sort of at the end of C.B Eder's message, he began to talk about hell, and how it is  completely dark there and so you can't see anything but all you feel is pain. At this point I started to feel weird, and my stomach was turning, and I was scared because I wasn't a Christian, so if I died right then, that's where I'd be going. Then during worship, we sang the song that goes something like this, "And anyone who calls upon  the lord, They will be saved...". And my mind went to the night Joy said that all I had to do was call upon his name. Tears began to pure from my eyes at this point. I forget what they exactly said, but that said something  along the lines that if you had a sin that hasn't been forgiven (I think?) to come up and be prayed for.  Melanie Millen had been standing beside me, and saw me crying and put her arm around me and asked me if I  wanted to go up. I stood there for a little bit, scared of what people would think of me if I did go up. Then right  as I was about not to go up, Cameron Odell (who was on my team and sitting close to where I was) got up and walked toward the front of the room, so I just followed him. Then when I got up there I saw Joy, and I ran over to her and clung onto her, crying. She turned around and wrapped her arms around me and began to cry too.  Then more people came up, my whole family, and most of my friends (the ones that saw me go up), and some  other people. I couldn't really see who all was up there because I was crying the whole time. Then my dad  helped me pray, and except Jesus into my heart. Then other people prayed for me too. And that night I became a Christian. People I'd like to thank: Jesus for dying for my sins (the rest are in no particular order) My whole family for being there for me and praying for me (Joy, for talking with me) (Geoff, Karla, Sarah,  Vinson, Erin, and Joy Sensenig) C.B. Eder for the great messge Melanie Millen, for being there for me, and urging me to go up Cameron Odell (even though he didn't know it) he helped me go up front  My counselors: Elya Shaheen, and Ben Brown. Ruth Anne and Melanie Millen, Ashley and Megan Crutcher, Margaret Odell, Abigail and Ahna Davis,  Julia Pritchard, Abby Stuart, Christiana Goslin, Hannah and Hope Privitera, Hannah Gifford, and more! All the girls on my team: Megan Inglin  Ashley Umberger  Chelena Jimenez Maria Schwarz  Carli Freeman  Emma Wenger  Melanie Millen  And to all the Pastors that preached at Youth Camp, and that were there.  Doug Plank and the worship team for a great worship!  And to many more people!

Congrats Joy!

Yippee!!!! Joy finally Graduated on June 7th 2011! (Which happened to be my last day of school!) The whole family (plus Sara Rankin) went to Joy's high school graduation from Conestoga Valley, at Calvary Church. We got pictures with her and pictures of her walking and with her friends. Then when we got home we celebrated with cake and ice cream! Congrats Joy! Here are some pictures taken by Geoff Sensenig (Daddy!)

On Saturday, May 28^th 2011, Sarah, Erin, Joy and Vinson Sensenig left Pennsylvania to go to NEXT in Florida, with Karla (mom) taking them to the airport in Philly. Meanwhile, Margaret and Geoff Sensenig went to Gettysburg and Margaret was in a soccer tournament with CV Lanco. They had three mini games, which contained of twenty minutes each, to find out their seating. CV won all these games. And this put CV Lanco in 1^st place in their division. Then they played a longer game of twenty minutes per half, and CV also won that game. Then after their victory they went home, and Margaret went to her friend, Julia Pritchard’s house to celebrate her 13th birthday. There they had dinner, then played games and then finally watch “Monk”. Then Margaret went home and went to sleep.

On Sunday, May 29^th, 2011 Karla, Geoff and Margaret Sensenig went to Gettysburg again to finish Margaret’s soccer tournament. The first game was at 8:00am. CV Lanco lost their first game of the day, 0-3. Then they won their second game 2-1. And CV Lanco got 5^th Place.

Since Margaret was reading the book, “Ella Enchanted” on their way home they picked up the movie, “Ella Enchanted” from Blockbuster. When they got home they watched it. “I just watched "Ella Enchanted" But I must say the book is ten times better then the movie.” – Margaret Sensenig. Then they relaxed and went to bed.

On Monday, May 30^th, 2011 was Memorial Day, so Margaret didn’t have school, so she went to work with her dad, and help him install bathroom cabinets in the Ovalle’s bathroom. This was with Sensenig Woodworking. Then after they finished that they went home. And then after they got ready to leave, they went to Penn Cinema and watched “Pirates of the Caribbean 4, On Stranger Tides”. Then when they came home Margaret went to the Millen’s house because they got their two Golden Retriever puppies. Their names were Willow, and Serena. Then after playing with the puppies, Margaret went home and her mom and her watched girl’s soccer on ESPN 360.

May 31^st, 2011

On Tuesday May 31^st, 2011 Margaret went to school at Dayspring Christian Academy. And had a party in Latin class, and they had snacks. Then in Bible class they made Welcome cards for the new people joining their class next year. Then Margaret got home at about 3:15, and went to her Grandparent’s house (Landis). And Margaret played with Kody and trained him a little. Then they came home and Margaret wrote this paper.

Now I am hoping to get my individual soccer pictures for my Dayspring Memory Mate, and one for the 3v3. Then I want to run later. (And I finished all of this!)

Joys Senior Prom

This year Joy is graduating from Conestoga Valley High School. She is our fourth child to survive 12 years of school. Graduation is on June 7. Joy attended her High School Prom, escorted by Nathanial Millen. She looked wonderful and they both had a great time. Congratulations to Joy on her graduation!

Dayspring 7th Grade Creation Trip 2011

7^th grade at my school went on a field trip. It’s called the Creation Trip. First we went to the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh (which is based on evolution), and then we went to the Creation Museum in Kentucky. And we kind of like compared them to each other. And we stayed in two hotels. It was rally fun. The one had a swimming pool and a hot tub, but the pool was hotter then the hot tub. And the swimming pool was so hot you could see the steam on it! I think it wasn’t supposed to be like that! J It was fun anyway! Then on the way home we stopped at the Flight 93 Memorial. It was really tiring! We were in the bus for most of the time. It was so fun!

Grandaddy Sensenig is 78

Last weekend we celebrated my dad's 78th birthday. It was meant to be a surprise but sometimes things just don't work out as planned. My dad was not totally surprised but he was blessed and we had a great time. What a blessing to celebrate God's goodness with granddaddy.

Margaret, the Tree!

Margaret has enjoyed her role as a tree in the play, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. It was fun being part of a fun school project. As promised I have uploaded some pictures of her and also a bonus, the slideshow we made of the play. Enjoy!
