More From My Book
Here is more from my book, "Linzzy Morgen". It's not edited.
Dark. It was in the midst of the night when only the owls should be awake. Rebecca shot up in her sleep. She heard the sound of a stick breaking. She looked around and what she saw was… nothing. Nothing at all, but Linzzy’s empty bed and nightstand. Someone was outside. Linzzy was gone, and the room was a gloomy black. She could hardly see her own hands. Then she heard it again. Another stick being broken and another and another, as if some one running through a pile of sticks. The only place with sticks that Rebecca could think of was the woods. She could hear the stream running beside her with a cold sound to it. She curled under her blanket, hoping for the sounds to go away.
Finally after about three minutes when the night was still full of noise, Rebecca couldn’t stand it any longer. She had to know who was outside. She crawled out of her bed, slipped on her shoes and coat, and cautiously walked out of her shack. She ventured toward the woods timidly.

More:
“They know,” a voice said plainly. Jacob pulled himself into a sitting position from there in his straw bed. He saw, standing in the doorway, the shape of a person. The wind was blowing violently. The moonlight cast a shadow on the floor in front of him. The person’s long hair blow untimely in the wind. Rain purred down behind her. Linzzy stepped into the cold stale room. Her hair was drenched in water. She had on an old shawl. She stepped toward them. Jacob stood up and lit the candle that sat on the old table.

More:
Dawn broke the night’s bitterness. Slowly the sun peered up from behind the peaks of the trees, as the owls crawled back into their homes. A thin wispy fog settled across the countryside. As water dripped off the leaves, there was a wet feeling lingering in the air from the previous night. The birds crooned their sunrise songs. The lush grass blew in the light cool wind while leaves swirled about as if in the midst of a dance. Animals stirred about the farmyard. Cows called for their morning meal and horses whinnied from their stalls. In the midst of it all was a girl with brown hair, no shoes, and a ragged dress.

Today is July 26, 2010. This morning I woke up at 9:30 and eat breakfast at about 10ish. Then I took the puppies out side to play with them. They were really crazy! We got a leash and collar for Maxe and he doesn't enjoy it yet! Then we took them inside and they all laid down and Emma sprawled out on the floor. Now they are going crazy and Emma is screaming like crazy! They are soooo cute! Now i'm going to eat lunch. BYE! Have a great day!

Licking a lemon lollipop,
While looking at the lazy lion linger.

My Book
Here is a little bit from my book I'm writing, "Linzzy Morgan". It's not edited at all and isn't the final copy.
Linzzy, out of breath darted behind an old oak tree. She held in her hand, a white dirty cloth. She had the four corners gripped in her hand, as if holding something of utmost value. Sweat spilled down her dirty face, leaving lines of cleared dirt. Pieces of hay hung out of her brown collapsing braid. Her torn dress was striped brown and orange. Her eyes were an elegant brown. Freckles doted her tan face. Her feet were cut and covered in mud.
She peered out from behind the oak, glaring at the 13-year-old girl, with dirty blond hair, following her. How did she find me? What will I do if she keeps following me, or finds out that it’s me? What will Jacob and Lydia say if she finds out about them too? Will they never trust me again? Tiffany better leave! Linzzy thought to herself as she glanced around at all the trees, looking for an escape. She could barely spot the old shack that lay beside the cold stream, that scarcely had any water trickling through it. Linzzy glimpsed behind her before dashing of to the next tree only about 10 yards away.

And more:
Linzzy seized the bucket and jogged to the rapid stream. Dipping the pail into the cold water, Linzzy leaned too far out and with out any warnings slipped on the mud. She glided toward the ice cold water left over from the snowy winter. As she slid, she reached for a small twig sticking up from the soil. Her fingers clutched the thorny stem; she let out a scream of pain. Thorns pierced her hand letting out gushing dark blood. Rain bolted down like bullets not making things any better. She had to make a choice. She could fall into the hasty, ice-cold water. Or she could pull herself up by the stabbing thorns…
Linzzy thrust her hand away from the twig and landed in the wintry water. Big mistake. On her way down she banged her head on a free log. She had been planning to grab onto something else farther down stream, but the current was too strong. And she now couldn’t think of that. The knock forced Linzzy into a daze, or unconsciousness. She drifted down the stream. Her hand stung in agony from the seven thorn enragements. Everything appeared to be like a dream. She couldn’t hear that someone was calling her name. Linzzy floated along the brook with her face just sticking above the early spring stream. Her feet dangled under the frozen rushing water. A flow of red water gushed out behind her. Now her hand was poring out more blood. A small bloody bruise circled the side of her head. It was mostly just a burse, not too bloody. Her bang on the log would leave a mark.
“Whose that? Linzzy!” A voice panicked. The someone plunged into the water. He or she grabbed Linzzy just as her head started drifting under water. The person laid her on the dirty ground. Linzzy stopped breathing.

Poem
Here is a poem I wrote:
Daybreak
By: Margaret Sensenig
Dawn broke the night’s bitterness
Slowly the sun peered up from behind
the peaks of the trees
Owls crawled back into their homes
A thin wispy fog settled across the
countryside
Water dripped off the leaves
A wet feeling lingering in the air from
the previous night.
The birds crooned their sunrise songs
The lush grass blew in the light cool wind
while leaves
swirled
About as if in the midst of a dance
Cows called for their morning meal
Horses whinnied from their stalls
Animals stirred about the farmyard

Biting Attacks
Bite, Bite, Bite. One memory Melanie and I always joke about and share is biting. Ever since I can remember, my family would talk about how I would always bite Melanie Grace Millen. One time when Melanie and I were talking about when I used to bite her, Melanie turned around and bit herself. She faced me and said, “Look, I still have a scar!” We cracked up laughing. I don’t remember too much about my biting phase. Not even stories. All I really know is that I would bite Melanie Millen, my best friend in the whole world. I really don’t know why I would bite her. I can’t quit remember if I used to bite my other friends or not. But this is one of our little memories we share out of a thousand.
